The art of asking a girl to a dance. :)

Natalie came home to find chocolate kisses all over the floor of her room and roses with a note on her bed. She was so excited. She turned the kisses over to find the ones with letters on them to discover who her date was. She was extra happy because it was the boy she likes a lot, needless to say, she was all smiles the rest of the night. Now she is trying to figure out a cute way to answer. Any ideas?

E is jealous that boys out your way are so much more creative than guys over here. We're trying to think of some creative way to reply (like a bag of mixed nuts and a note 'I'd be nuts to say no!' or the box of whoppers and 'we'll have a whopper of a good time' - which may be totally too corny!) and would love to know what you come up with.

Those are great ideas--we will keep those for next time!!! Natalie is answering right now. She got a bunch of little army guys and is putting them all over his room with a note saying "even an entire army couldn't keep me from going to homecoming with you." with some kisses also on the ground and some brownies with army guys on them holding a sign YES. I think she wanted to hang some parachuting army guys from his light.--a little too much I think. hahaha :)

My first reaction was .. good thing her room was clean! I would be freaked out if a guy went into my room in high school the way I kept it! I don't have any clever ideas ... maybe get some 'sure' deodorant and say, "i'll for 'SURE' go with you" hahahaha I'm lame.

Cathy--her room was a total mess. I told her to clean it before YW, knowing her date was coming while she was gone. She made an ok attempt at cleaning it, but still had bras hanging from bedposts and closet doors and dirty soccer socks and a few other random things on the floor. I cleaned it really good and made it look cute. After the boy left, I put her bras and junk back where she had left it. She was mortified when she saw her things that were left out and freaked out that a boy had seen her room that way. hahahah---I eventually told her that I had put the those things back after he had left. Hopefully she learned a lesson about keeping her room clean. :)
