Thanksgiving

I made another video clip of the pictures we took over this Thanksgiving break to send to Johnny. It was a fun filled weekend full of complicated plans, events and traveling back and forth to cousin's houses.
Grandma also took all the girls to the nutcracker to watch 3 cousins preform. We feel so blessed and are truly grateful for our faith, health, food, friends and family. When looking at the "black" Friday deals in the newspaper, we quickly realized we didn't really need anything, that we already have everything we could want. :)

Wow - what a great video. I am amazed that after 4 busy days in a row, you have already made a little movie about it.

It was so fun to see you and your family on Thanksgiving and then again at the football game (go Cougars!).

Next you need to do a Thanksgiving food blog with your recipes and tips.

I feel like we were at all of the thanksgiving festivities. Grant liked that crazy song, which is now in my head.

What a cute song. Where did you go bowling? Are you going to be around for Christmas?

Mary--The song is from Veggie Tales--haha. We went bowling at Paul's parent's bowling lanes at their house. The kids loved bowling as many times as they wanted. Yes we will be here for Christmas. Johnny comes home Dec 21st!!! Yeah! Are you guys coming out?

Emily,

How did you make the video and did you do it on a CD and just send it? I need ideas like this for my kids. And any other ones that you can share! I made each one a personalized calendar from costco for christmas, but I like the video! So please let me know how you did it! Thanks!

Emily,

How do you do all this? The christmas gifts from kid to kid, the video, all the cooking.

i am banning your blog!! you are such a good mom!

The video made me home-sick for Utah. I'll play it for the kids they will really enjoy it!

Amy--you can set up your blog so you can email post to people. That is what I do when I make a video. It is a lot easier than mailing him a CD or emailing him a bunch of pictures. I did make a year in review 1/2 hour movie as a Christmas present last year on a CD that he loved. I do it on my apple computer. The apple program makes it so easy to put it all together.

Suz--my house is a mess right now and we are having leftovers for dinners and I have a pile of laundry in my room to fold---maybe I will blog how big a pile it is. :)
